| PDD daily wagers protest entered 27th day | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Jan 10 : The protest dharna of the PDD daily wagers has entered the 27th day at power substation Hatli Morh Kathua . It was fully supported by the Sarv Dharam Seva Samiti who joined the dharna said by the Kulbir Singh Pathania activist of the Samiti. The Samiti has strongly criticized the state coalition Government for adopting inhumane and callous attitude towards the struggling daily wagers for their long pending demand of regularization while being passed more than 10 to 17 years in services in PDD on just meager amount as salary per month. The Samiti disclosed that they are fully dedicated and are honestly in support of these struggling PDD daily wagers for their genuine and right demand for the regularization. From the spot of protest dharna the district vice president of the PDD Daily Wagers Association Susheel Sharma (Lucky) expressed that the daily wagers in PDD department is the biggest working force who are doing their duties with determination and dedication to serve the more than one billion population of the state in order to provide the electricity at their door steps while most of the senior most and officers staff have nothing works except to pass the directions on these innocent hard worker daily wagers. He said till date due to the negligence of the Government and its department, more than 100 and innocent daily wagers have lost their lives, numerous lost their limbs and burnt with electric flash during their duties but nothing has been done so far . |
