| PDP president visits Shahgund Hajin | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Jan 10 : Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti today visited Shah Gund Hajin in Sonawari constituency to condole the death of Mehrajudin Hajam who was killed in cross firing incident in Sopore on Saturday. She met the family members including his paralytic mother and conveyed her sympathies to them. Considering the circumstances in which Mehrajudin lost his life and the fact that he was the only earning hand for his family. Mehbooba said the government must compensate the family adequately and provide employment to one of the members. She said the family had become destitute with the death of Mehrajudin and it was governments duty to look after its requirements. |
