| Maharani Yasho Rajya's 75th birthday observed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 10: The Birthday of the Late Maharani Yasho Rajya Lakshmi, wife of Maharaja Dr Karan Singh, Chairman Trustee, J&K Dharmarth Trust and Member Parliament was traditionally observed at the Holy premises of historic temple of Shree Raghunathji here.
The ceremony was chaired by President, J&K Dharmarth Trust Th. Divakar Singh. Amidst Vedic Hymns, holy Havana and ceremonial Mantras, the function was aimed at the peace of the departed soul and welfare of the people of the State.
The Secretary, J&K Dhar-marth Trust, Shashi Khajuria, Dharmarth Trust staff, leading priests of the Temple, prominent citizens and devotees of the Temple were also present on the occasion.
The President, J&K Dhar-marth Trust, Th. Divakar Singh threw light on the unforgettable all-round services of the great Maharani towards social upliftment of down-trodden and suffering sections of the society. Prasad was distributed liberally among visiting devotees pilgrims who visited Shree Raghunath Ji Temple, Jammu. |
