| MP Madan Lal visits Christian colony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 10: Member Parliament (MP) Madan Lal Sharma who visited the Christian colony New plot today assured the residents of the colony that all the demands with regard to development of the colony would be full-filled on priority.
Addressing the residents of the colonly MP Sharma said that the sufficient amount will be provided for the construction of community hall from MP constituency development front. He also on the occasion urged upon the government that VAT on army personnel in the J&K State be kept at par with other state.
He also demanded that panchayats be empowered under 73rd & 74th amendments. Sharma also urged that long pending demands of 1947, 1965 and 1971 refugees of West Pakistan be settled at an earliest.
On the occasion a number of delegations also called on MP Sharma and apprise him about their problems. |
