| Coalition govt ignored people of state : Shah | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Jan 10: The coalition Government has ignored the people of the state, said Senior Vice President Awami National Conference (ANC) Muzaffar Shah.
In a press statement issued here today, Shah said this is being done to stay put in office and stick to power. The people of the state will lose faith in all the democratic institutions and democracy by weakening the constitutional special status of the state. He further said that by submitting the three year report card to Delhi, the remaining autonomy has been compromised only to stay in power. It has become normal to ignore the basic needs of the people and black mail the central government with the protests. Shah has also cautioned the Central Government to be aware of the State Government of its manipulations. |
