| Panther students stage protest | | |  Early times Report
Jammu, Jan 10: National Panther Students Union (NPSU) today staged a protest under the leadership of its President Varinder Singh against the search committee for the appointment of new Vice Chancellor (VC) for the University of Jammu (JU), demanded new VC should be from Jammu region.
Addressing the media persons, Varinder said that there are lots of qualified persons in Jammu and are eligible for the post of Vice Chancellor (VC) and on the other hand in Kashmir University and Kashmir Centre-University there are local Vice Chancellors.
He also said that government is always ignoring the eligibility of capable educated persons in Jammu and trying to dominate them. |
