jammu, Jan 10: Chief minister Omar Abdullah and IGP Ashok Gupta did not make any mention of trainee SI Parneet Kour, who was found hanging under mysterious circumstances from a ceiling fan hook at police training academy, Udhampur, on August 21 last year.
Several Sikh organisations had demanded a probe into the incident, suspecting some foul play. Parneet, a resident of Lower Gadigarh here, was said to be a promising trainee SI at PTA.
Surprisingly, neither the CM nor the IGP bothered to make a mention of the speeches in their addresses. |
