REASI, Jan 11: Sports events marked the celebration of Silver Jubilee Raising Day of the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police (JKAP), XII Battalion at Battalion Headquarters, here today.
During the celebrations, jawans and officers of the battalion were involved in various sports and cultural activities to make the event a memorable one. In sports, tug of war and volleyball competitions were held, which were witnessed by a large gathering including sportspersons and senior citizens.
On the valedictory function, Additional Director General of Police, Armed, Law and Order, K Rajendra Kumar was the chief guest, who interacted with players and officials on the occasion.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were District Development Commissioner, Reasi, Shee-tal Nanda, Inspector General of Police Armed, Gulzar Singh Slathia, DIG , IR, Kamal Saini, DIG Udham-pur-Reasi Range , Jagit Kumar and DIG Armed Police, Johny William. |
