| 3 SSPs, 1 SP transferred, Prabat, Jain swap posts | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 11: Government today ordered transfer and posting in police department, sources within State Home department said further adding that transfer and posting of three SSPs and one SP.
Sources said that SSP Jammu Anand Jain, has been transferred to 15 battalion as Commandant while SSP Prabat Singh, who was earlier commandant of 15 battalion has been transferred and posted as SSP Jammu.
Pertinent to mention that the state government has ordered an inquiry against Anand Jain and DySP Devakar Singh following the leakage of one official document which appeared in local daily pointing about alleged hand of a cabinet minister in a land scam issue.
Meanwhile SSP Kewhav Chourasia whose name was coined for deputation has been posted in PTA Udhampur, SP Anita Sharma has also been posted in 15 battalion as Assistant Commandant. Both the officers were attached with IGP Jammu office following Reasi controversy during a public rally Union Home Minister for Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah. |
