| Fearing 'invasion in its bastion' NC aims its guns towards PDP | | | Mishu Gupta
Jammu, Jan 11: Sensing danger ahead of local bodies' polls from the main Opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party in its bastion the Jammu region, the National Conference (NC) leadership has launched a typical political combing operation against its arch rival PDP in Jammu region. Chief Minister Omar alongwith his cabinet minister are seen aiming their guns against PDP while not mentioning a single word targeting political rivals in Jammu i.e. the BJP and Panthers.
Minister for Industries and Commerce SS Slathia in atypical style today lambasted the PDP for exploiting the sentiments of innocent and peace loving people of the state for their petty political gains. Targeting the PDP the NC leader went ahead and said PDP is in the state of complete obfuscation and nervousness
In a long speech he missed no opportunity to target PDP but gave a chance to of slipping to BJP and the Panthers but continued his attack towards PDP saying the PDP is in the state of complete obfuscation, nervousness and trying to deceit the common people by raising false statement against the success of Omar led Government.
He further asked PDP to stop dreaming as the present generation is wise enough to see through their mechanizations and will reject the PDP in future as well.
NC Leadership which is licking its wounds inflicted by the party spokesperson Mustaffa Kamal (who was axed for being outspoken and speaking against the Congress leadership) and the phony war between Party MP Ghulam Nabi Rattanpuri and Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul infact is trying to keep a balance to keep its flock together ahead of the civic bodies polls that are at hand.
To its sharp contrast the PDP is taking chances upon its rival National Conference, the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti in valley has waged a strong wordy war against NC while PDP Patron and Former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has confined only accrediting the achievements of PDP-Congress coalition regime.
Meanwhile the political analyst too are amazed over the manner Omar and his cabinet ministers are aiming their guns against PDP in Jammu region and they observe that it may be the outcome of the series of joining of PDP by the political activists in Jammu region.
They however added that feeling insecure from the growing popularity of political rival PDP is 'fishing its pool', the NC leadership is all set to aim its guns towards PDP while ignoring the known performance and share of the other political parties like BJP and Panthers. Knowing that BJP, Panthers and JSM had restricted strongholds in the city where NC can't penetrate and they can't fish in NC's pool, the NC is shielding itself only against the PDP especially when Local bodies' elections are at hand in coming future.
