| Vivekananda College celebrates Youth day | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 12: To mark the birth anniversary of swami Vivekananda , a cultural programme was organized today at campus of Vivekananda ion which Dr Adarsh Malohtra Principal Govt College for women Kathua was the chief Guest.
Dr Sudarshan kumar gupta chairman Vivekananda Institutes and Dr. Anju Sharma principal Vivekananda College of education were also present on this auspicious moment. A colorful programme was presented by students which included welcome song, Dogri Dance, Punjabi Duet Dance & Skit on the life & preaching's of Swami Vivekananda.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Sudarshan threw light on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda .
Kavi Darbar was also organized on the occasion of Lohri Festival by the College in which distinguished poets, poetesses & students of the college presented their creative ideas as well as thoughts in the form of beautiful self-composed poems which enthralled the audience. At last lohri festival was celebrated in the same venue with a lot of exuberance and fanfare. The function stated with highlighting the importance of the celebration of lohri festival by Dr. Sudarshan kumar Gupta, Dr Anju Sharma also spoke on the occasion. She congratulated staff & students and highlighted the religious, social and historical importance of the day. |
