| AIBCU urges to enhance quota to OBCs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 12: All India Backwards Classes Union (AIBCU) in a meeting under the Chairmanship of its President Abdul Majid Malik discussed the issue of plight of Backward Classes and the enhancement of reservation to backward classes which reportedly was discussed in Coordination Committee Meet held on Jan 9.
During the meeting the speakers appealed Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, Chairman of the Co-ordinate Committee to make a significant enhancement in the reservation as the state OBCs have already suffered a lot.
Besides, Participants appealed the State OBCs to Co-operate the Economical Caste based census already started in State and they should not forget to "write their caste" in the performa for the purpose of obtaining OBC certificate and OBCs population strength in the State which is utmost important for the OBCs development in the state.
