| BVP organises rally to celebrate Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 12: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Swami Vivekanand Branch Gandhi Nagar organised a rally at Gole Market Gandhi Nagar, Jammu to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand and the golden jubilee celebration of Bharat Vikas Parishad.
About 70 members of the BVP took part in rally. The members shouted the slogans of Vande Matram, Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Swami Ji Amar Rahe. Later all the members took the pledge to work with dedication and devotion in their respective fields.
Bharat Vikas Parishad is celebrating the year 2012 as an year of youth. BVP shall take up different programs throughout the year to educate the youth about our rich heritage culture and inculcate in them the spirit of patriotism and nationalism.
Prominent members who participated in the rally are Dr Santosh Gupta, Prof Suresh Gupta, SN Sharma, Dr Subash Gupta, Surinder Sethi President, ML Vaid Secretary, Indu Bhushan Sharma and Arun Sharma flagged off the rally.
