| State handball, hockey meet of DYSS begin | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 12: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), the inter-district state level competitions of handball and hockey in boys' under-16 age group under PYKKA got underway at University of Jammu grounds, here today. The competition was declared open by the Director DYSS, JP Singh while Director Sports and Physical Education, JU, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau was guest of honour. Among others present were Assistant Director, PYKKA, Mohd Din and district officer, Tirath Ram. The Detailed Results: HOCKEY: Samba bt Rajouri 2-0; Baramulla bt Poonch 4-0. HANDBALL: Pulwama bt Poonch 10-05; Rajouri bt Kulgam 15-02. |
