Jammu, Jan 12 : 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu granted one day police remand to Jatinder Singh @ Raja s/o Choudhary Nagar Singh in FIR No 164/2010 U/Ss 307/34/120-B RPC r/w section 3/25 Arms Act.
2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Subash C Gupta after hearing APP KA Qazi observed that Court is of the considered opinion that accused Jatinder Singh is required to be remanded to police custody for one day for further investigation of the above-titled case. Accordingly it is ordered that Supt District Jail Kathua shall hand over the custody of accused Jatinder Singh to SHO P/S Channi Himmat Jammu for one day and after completion of remand period SHO P/S Channi Himmat Shall hand over the custody of Jatinder Singh back to the Supt District Jail Kathua against proper receipt. Meanwhile Court perused the CD file and entries made in the same pertaining to interrogation of accused Surinder Singh @ Chantu whose custody had already been taken by the Investigating Officer in the above said FIR for five days from this Court. Court considering the plea of the SHO who is investigating the case and granted one day police remand of Jatinder Singh @ Raja. In the meanwhile Court also directed SHO P/S Channi Himmat to get the accused Jatinder Singh medically checked from the doctors and submit report of medical examination to this Court. This direction has been passed in an application filed by Adv Mandeep Singh for the accused Jatinder Singh. (JNF) |
