| BSF opens fire as troops sight suspects on IB | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 12: BSF jawans opened fire after they picked up suspicious movement near the forward Bakarpur outpost on the International Border (IB) in R S Pura sub-sector here today.
Official sources said BSF personnel fired few rounds after they picked up suspicious movement near the Bakarpur outpost. Nearly 20 rounds were fired by the alert jawans, the sources added.
IG BSF, Jammu Frontier, A K Jain said such incidents of firing often took place on the borders.
