100 activists join PDP in Ganderbal | Major set back to NC | |
Early Times Report Srinagar, Jan 11: Dismayed by its leadership around 100 activists today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at Ganderbal today. A bloc president of the Democratic Party Nationalistic also joined the PDP. The District President, Qazi Muhammad Afzal who defeated Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in2002 elections termed the development s positive. He said that PDP's roadmap is for self sustainment and progressive Jammu Kashmir. He also directed the workers to discharge their duties with utmost dedication and work for the betterment of masses who are presently bearing the failures of NC government adding that this was the biggest en-masse joining in the recent days at Ganderbal. Showkat Ahmed Bhat was nominated as the Halqa president of the area. Vice president Ganderbal, Abdul Wahid Dar, welcomed the workers in PDP and retreated PDP's resolve to chart out a path of peaceful Kashmir. |
