| CEO Budgam alleged for victimizing RTI users | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Jan 13: J&K RTI Movement has alleged that some RTI users and whistle blowers are being victimized by the Government officers especially the Chief Education Officer Budgam.
In a statement issued here Convener of J&K RTI Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat said that some teachers working in Education department have been using RTI Act to ensure good governance and proper development in their respective villages and have been using Right to Information Act (RTI) for this purpose, but the officials of the Education department especially the CEO Budgam have started victimizing them by telling them whether they have sought permission from him (CEO) to use RTI Act.
It is pertinent to mention that Javaid is not an office bearer of J&K RTI Movement , he is an RTI user why CEO is troubling him is matter of great concern ? We will file a complaint before Chief Information Commissioner in this regard and seek his intervention Dr Muzaffar added. |
