Jammu | Jan 14
National Students Forum (NSF) has extended support to demands of protesting Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers and condemned the anti-youth policies of State government. Addressing a press conference, Gurdeep Singh Pandey, President NSF came out in support of the ReT teachers, who are protesting on roads from the last five days for the fulfillment of their genuine demands.
Pandey said the monthly honorarium of Rs. 1500 is a cruel joke with the unemployed youths. He lambasted State Govt for not granting a monthly honorarium of Rs 3000 despite assurance by a former minister last year.
Pandey also raised objection over the recent reshuffle in JU administration. Those who were present on the occasion included Amolak Singh, Chairman NSF, Isha Gupta, Vice President, Farooq Manhas Gen. Secretary.
