Poonch (Jammu), Jan 13: Good worth Rs 3.64 crores were traded today at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said. As many as 26 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (POK), they said, adding that these trucks carried bags of chilli, cardamom, coriander, onion and tamarind worth Rs 1, 22, 37, 617. From POK, 18 trucks carrying bags of almond, dry grapes, dry dates, herbs and keenu crossed to this side and these were worth Rs 2,42,59,323. The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1230 hours to 1300 hours and 1630 hours to 1700 hours, they said. |
