| GDC Bishnah celebrates Lohri | | | | JAMMU, Jan 14: Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah today organized "Lohri" & New Year celebrations in the college premises. Principal Prof Kalpana Kesar with staff members & students attended the function. The function started with the bonfire wherein the president of the college spoke on the occasion highlighting the importance of the festival and sanctity of 'Makarsakranti'. Folk songs were sung by the students on the beats of dhol and students of B.A Part-I, II & III participated in various cultural items on the occasion. The function was celebrated with great fervour and gaiety. |
