| PDP condoles demise of Adv. Nazir Ahmed Shah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Jan 14: Expressing deep sorrow and grief on the demise of Anantnag District Secretary and former chairman Town Area Committee Anantnag, Advocate Nazir Ahmed Shah, the Peoples Democratic Party Saturday expressed its condolences on the death of the noted political personality.
In a press communiqué, Peoples Democratic patron Mufti Mohd Sayeed and Party President Mehbooba Mufti conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them. Terming Nazir Ahmed Shah as a beacon of light for others, Mufti said the party brass had a great admiration and his leadership benefitted large number of people. His loss has left a huge void in the party, particularly among the people of Anantnag, Mufti said. Mehbooba while expressing grief over the demise of Shah said that his determination and dedication towards his people and party will remain as a shining example for others to follow.
Senior party leaders Muzaffar Hussain Beigh, Mohammed Dilawar Mir, Molvi Iftikhar Ansari, Tariq Hamid Qarra, Abdul Rehamn Veeri, Mohd Sartaj Madni, Sofi Ab Gaffar, Qazi Mohd Afzal, Peer Mohd Hussain,Mohd Khalil Bandh, Ab Razaq Zawoora and others also expressed their condolence to the family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. |
