| PDP demands probe into irregularities in selection of teachers in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Jan 15: : Terming SSRB as most biased and unfair institution, MLA Darhal and senior leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Choudhary Zulfikar Ali today said that selection of list of teachers for Rajouri district is a clear indication that bungling and manipulation have been going unabated in the SSRB.
He said that instead of selecting deserving candidates SSRB has selected a number of undeserving candidates with low academic merit by giving them 100 percent marks in the interview. He said that in the name of conducting interview, SSRB has been furthering interests of undeserving candidates by giving them 100 percent marks. PDP leader said many deserving candidates with good merit are ignored and a number of undeserving candidates have managed to get into the selection lists.
He said some candidates with lower academic merits were given 19.69 marks, out of total 20, in the interview to ensure their entry into the selection list. "On the other hand some meritorious candidates who have good academic merits are given only 3.46 only to reject them to select some undeserving candidates in their place. Demanding a high level probe in to the whole bungling, Choudhary Zulfikar warned that there is strong resentment among youth against such irregularities and the people have been losing faith in the establishment. PDP leader while demanding de-recognisation of degrees out side the state for government job, said that viva discretion should also be abolished. He demanded that selection should be held on written test on the analogy of the competitive examinations. |
