Senior PDP leaders visit Shah house, express condolences | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Jan 15: Senior Peoples Democratic Party Leaders Sunday made a visit to Anantnag to condole the death of its District Secretary, Advocate Nazir Ahmed Shah, who passed away day before yesterday and conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family. Deputy Speaker, Mohd Sartaj Madni, and Senior PDP leader and MLA, Abdul Rehman Veeri , Peerzada Mansoor Hussain and others visited the deceased leader's home and expressed solidarity with the family members. They said that Shah was a prominent political personality as he had dedicated himself to the betterment masses that had equally grown fond of him. They also participated in the Nimazi Jinazah of the late Shah. They said that Shah's extraordinary leadership qualities had made him statute voice of the area whose determination and dedication had always benefited its people on a number of occasions. While offering sympathies to the aggrieved members of the family, they said Shah's departure to the heavenly abode has left a void which will be impossible to fill in the near future. They said all the political activists and leaders should take a leaf from the achievements of Advocate Shah who had become a gem for the party and the people. |
