Another FIR likely against Reen Palace owner | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 15: Amreek Singh, owner of Reen Palace, who got bail after he was arrested under section 288,337 RPC, is likely to be booked for violation of Agrarian Reforms Act. Sources said that Amreek Singh, who enjoyed back of powerful opposition political party of state, was constructing a banquet hall at Chatha allegedly on agricultural land thereby throwing Land Agrarian Reforms Act in wind. The report of alleged violation of land reforms came to limelight following the collapse of the roof of a banquet hall being constructed by reen at Chatha, a couple of days ago. In the incident ten labours sustained injuries and were rushed to the GMC hospital for treatment. Police sources said that while the construction work of banquet hall was stopped by police, investigation of the permission granted to the Amreek Singh was also in progress by Satwari police. |
