| Coalition based on firm ideological foundation: Dy CM | | | Early Times report
JAMMU, Jan 14 : Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Tara Chand today said that the Omar led coalition government is committed to equal development of all the three regions of the State and to provide basic amenities to the people, adding that the Centre government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Mr Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi is making liberal funding to the State for the development and prosperity.
The Deputy Chief Minister was addressing a large public meeting at Khour block here today.
Mr. Tara Chand said that Rs. 20 crore for upgrading irrigation facilities in border areas has also been in process besides Degree college for Khour block has also been sanctioned.
He said people have great expectations from coalition government which he said is based on firm foundation of equitable development of all regions of the State.
He appealed the youth to avail benefits under various state and centrally sponsored schemes and participate in various awareness progr ammes launched by the government in their respective areas.
He also directed the concerned officers to organize more and more awareness programme in the area so that the youth can avail the benefit of these schemes. |
