Reorganization of the J&K only option to end discrimination : Singh | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 15: Advocating strongly for creation of separate assemblies, budgets, administrative and financial units for the three regions under reorganization of the state plan, Jammu and Kashmir Panthers party chairman Bhim Singh said there was a huge support to the idea by the people of the state. He added that Reorganization of the state is only option to end Kashmir problem and it will ensure justice, equity, equality and equitable legislative powers and development for all the three regions-- Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu. Singh was addressing a huge party rally at Udhampur today despite bad weather conditions. Demanding dissolution of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and imposition of Governor's rule in the state, the National Panthers Party today said fresh polls should be held on the basis of reorganization. He added that state three regions have nothing in common except that they have been forced into the Union as one state, he said, adding that it was an unholy alliance of regions for carving out a state. Speaking on the occasion JKNPP working chairman and MLA, Harsh Dev Singh and state President MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia and provincial general secy Anil Parihar today accused the state government of failing to provide employment to the youth and demanded timely steps. "NC-led government is sitting on volcano of unemployment. It has totally failed to provide them jobs despite making tall claims during the past three years. They said the state government should stop playing with the sentiments of the unemployed youth. Singh alleged that the Sheri Kashmir Employment Welfare Policy (SK EWPY) which turned out to be damp squib and said the government's claims of providing gainful employment to five lakh youth under SKEWPY proved to be a farce. The party leaders also highlighted parties' achievement and assure equal development and justice with all three regions if voted to power in future. They added the areas represented by party MLAS has progress in comparison to other areas and party has fulfilled all the things committed before assembly polls. |
