| Aircel offers innovative handsets to support Disaster Management | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Jan 16: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Aircel which is one of India's fastest growing mobile operators today came forward to extend a helping hand in the form of communication support to snow clearing machines working round the clock to ensure road clearance in snow bound areas of Kashmir Region. At a simple function held today in the Div.Com.Office, Zonal Business Head Aircel Akhtar Jeelani presented Olive Handsets bundled with Aircel SIM to Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr.Asgar Hassan Samoon in presence of Head Disaster Management Kashmir, Aamir Ali. It is pertinent to mention here that Olive Frvr on V-G2300 which is a unique handset launched jointly by Aircel & Olive in J&K. The bundled proposition is affordable & can also run on normal AAA pencil cells so that a user never runs out of battery. When powered with Aircel which has the distinction of seamless connectivity at all times will act as a life line for Kashmir & can enable administration to be contactable 24x7. These handsets will be handed over to personnels manning snow clearance machines, so that they can remain constantly in touch with their snow control room/masses of Kashmir and can perform their duties in a better and more efficient manner. |
