| Refresher course on "Office Management & Administration" begins | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 16: A one week refresher course on "Office Management & Administration commenced at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra. The program is first initiative for development of the administrative and secretarial staff of Educational Institutions and corporate in the JK state. The coordinator of the program, Amit Kant Pandit said that the program will focus on overall development and outlook of administrative and secretarial staff for organizational effectiveness. He said to compete successfully in today's scenario; organizations have pressing need to manage effectively and professionally the activities of day to day working. The method of executing a task, does matters, it effects the output as well as resource consumption. The right methodology of work execution is very important. This program aims to emphasis, the development of leadership attributes, human resource concepts, communication and interpersonal skills, as well exposure to various word processing systems. He said a team of resource persons from Microsoft India, TITS Bhiwani, Cdr. VK Jaitly (Cube Consultant), Capt. Thakur (NRB) along with Sunil Giri, Saurabh from SMVDU will hold various interesting and interactive sessions during the course, attended by the administrative and secretarial staff of various organizations.
