CEO orders 'stops work' at ZEO Office Rajouri till 29 | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Jan 16: Following a tug of war between the two Zonal Educational Officer (ZEO) Rajouri and the matter is subjudice, the Chief Education officer (CEO) Rajouri orders 'stop work' till Jan 29. The tug of war between the two officials in education department has not only made mockery of a govt institution but also had brought the work in education department to stand still. The things took dramatic turn about a month back when ZEO Rajouri, Nirmal Kumari was transferred on 21st Dec,2011 and was appointed as ZEO Sunderbani while Naresh Kumar was appointed as ZEO Rajouri from Khwas. But Nirmal Kumari seeking relief from court has got stay of her transfer from Court of Law. According to sources in department the Nirmal Kumari who sought her transfer order stayed is insisting that she should be transferred either as ZEO Doongi Agrati or Rajouri. After getting the transfer order stayed from court, Nirmal Kumari started sitting in office of ZEO Rajouri. The attitude of Nirmal Kumari has forced, the ZEO Rajouri Naresh Kumar to sit outside of his office where he has been transferred recently. When ZEO Rajouri, Naresh Kumar said that former ZEO Nirmal Kumari's approach to job is causing a lot of disturbance in the functioning of office. CEO Rajouri, M L Sharma when contacted confirmed the war between the two officials and said after the order by court, the routine work of ZEO Rajouri Office has been stopped till the hearing on Jan 29 and further hoped this issue will be resolved very soon. He also added that issue has also been brought in the knowledge of light of Director of School Education.
