| Now 'video clip' of attack on Congress MP & MLA goes on 'facebook' | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Kishtwar Jan 17: Video of attack on Congress MP Chowdhary Lal Singh and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori by a group of Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (HUJI) in July 2006 near Sanghambata Chatroo has now been uploaded by some unidentified person and released on social networking site 'facebook.'
The video of the attack captured by the militants shows two militants with automatic weapons keeping watch on the motor cavalcade of Congress MP on way to Chatroo from Kishtwar and then triggering the IED blast planted in the middle of the road followed by indiscriminate fire and rocket attack through a rocket launcher was uploaded on the social networking site.
The clipping also shows militants shouting slogans "Narey Taqbir-Allah-ho-Akbar." The said video clip shows militant blowing up the security vehicle positioned at number two in the motor cavalcade resulted into the killing of the than Dy SP Kishtwar Mushtaq Ahmed and four other security personals present inside the security vehicle.
According to high placed sources before the attack Congress MP from Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Parliamentary Constituency and local Congress MLA, the militants are said to be fully aware and updated about the position of the vehicles of both the elected representatives, but the deceased Dy SP Mushtaq Ahmed who was in hurry to offer the Friday Nimaz (Prayer) overtook the number two vehicle of both the elected representatives just few kilometers before the attack was launched by the militants and blowup the number two vehicle otherwise the things would have been different for Congress leaders MP Lal Singh and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori.
If recalled this incident the MP Lal Singh and MLA Saroori were evicted by the security forces to nearby army camp at Bhanderkot, while the then SDM Kishtwar Raiz Ahmed Zarger and CMO Doda Dr Shahid Mughal showing courage tried to shift one critically injured person who is said to be the driver of security vehicle to nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
"The video was first reported to have been recovered by the security forces from the position of one of the HUJI militant killed in an encounter with security forces in Kishtwar, but was disappeared from the security record before same was surfaced on Social networking site facebook, reports said. |
