| Folk festival postponed in view of B.ed counselling | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 17: In view of the BEd Counseling from January 10 to 25 at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, the two day “Folk Festival” to be organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, on 19th and 20th of January, 2012, stands postponed. However the entries for the same are being entertained by the University. It may be mentioned here that the said festival shall include Folk Dances and Folk Songs. Apart from the “Display Your Talent” an annual feature of the University, this is an exclusive opportunity for the students enrolled to peruse the B. Ed. Course in private affiliated to display their creative pursuits.
Besides that the festival, is also an endevour to presence our rich cultural heritage and develop a sense of appreciation amongst the younger generation.
The fresh dates of the festival shall be intimated later on.
