| MIER launches awareness campaign on environment | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 17: Model Academy, B.C. Road under the guidelines of the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Govt. of India launched National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC) in collaboration with World Wildlife Fund. Under this campaign, the school is taking up number of activities on the theme “Forest for Sustainable Livelihood”.
In this connection, a movie show was organized for the students of the school. In this show, three films namely, ‘Save the Ozone Layer’, ‘Ocean and Climate Change’ and ‘Green House Effect’ were shown to the students. All the students enjoyed the movie show and they found these movies quite informative and interesting.
The members present on the occasion were Mrs. Rupa Gupta Principal, Model Academy R.R. School, Dr. P.L. Koul, OSD MIER, Mrs. Usha Gadoo Vice Principal, Manju Vali, Convener co-curricular committee, Mrs. Poonam Gupta Incharge of the Project.
