Sahyog India celebrates silver jubilee, presents National Awards

Jammu, Jan 17: Sahyog India – (Serving All Humanity Yearningly Over Globe) celebrates silver jubilee after completing 25 years of committed selfless social service for the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities and the needy.
The chief guest Indu Koul chairperson, J&K Police Wives Welfare Association enlightened the ceremonial lamp and paid floral tributes to Maa Karam Wati Jojra-an architect of Sahyog India.
During Silver Jubilee celebrations in the auditorium of Govt. College for Women at Gandhi Nagar, the special children of Sahyog Institute of Rehabilitation and Research presented cultural performance which stole the show.
In her presidential address the Indu Koul said that I am enthralled by soul stirring cultural performance of special children of Sahyog India of Rehabilitation and Research in multidimensional ways during the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Sahyog India.
M R Puri Chairman of Sahyog India blessed all present on the occasion of Silver Jubilee Celebration, while presenting the details of achievements of Sahyog India during 25 years of committed social service he also made an appeal to join Sahyog India Parivar.
Sahyog India presented national awards to prominent personalities of the country and the State and awardees honoured with Indian Pearls Awards are Vinod Mishra a differently abled from Delhi and author of 60 books. Ms. Prakrati Chandra of 12 years age from Lucknow an Awardee of Limca Book of World Records for motivating about three laks of people for eye donation. Mr. Arun Rao, Director Deafway Foundation Delhi. Lifetime achievement awardees are M.R. Puri, Ved Kumar Ghai, Padam Shri Nilamber Dev Sharma, Green Samaritan Award was presented to O.P. Sharma – Eminent Environmentalist,.Poonam Dhawan HOD Life Long Learning Department Jammu University is honoured with MAA Karam Wati Women Empowerment Award. Adamya Sahas Puraksar presented to S.Manohar Singh for bravery. The personalities honoured with India Pearls Awards are Balwant Thakur, Raj Kumar Dogra eminent sitarist, Suraj Singh Singer, Ravinder Jammu Eminent Sculpturist.
The awardees who were honoured with social Samaritan National Award are Indu Koul Khoda chairperson Police Wives Welfare Association, D.R.Kapoor, Nalini Kohli, Principal Govt. College for Women, Y.V. Sharma President Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Pooja Malhotra Chairperson Tawish Group of Educational Colleges, Nasreen Khan, Principal Mayur Education Institute, Esther William Principal Alexander Memorial School, Anil Gupta, M.D. City Info, D.D. Khajuria, Thakur Kashmir Singh Manhas, R.L. Sharma, M.D. JK Portraits.
Vinod Mishra presented power point presentation on delivery system of assistive technologies for disabled in J&K State.
Prakrati Chandra recipient of Limca Book of World Records also motivated the audience to make eye donation mass movement.
Esther William Vice President of Sahyog India presented vote of thanks. Lalit Kumar organizer Sahyog India coordinated all proceedings of Silver Jubilee Celebrations.
