MHS DAV Senior Secondary School brought laurels for Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA , January 17 : M.H.S DAV Senior Secondary School Kathua has brought the laurels for the Kathua by grabbing the first and second position from a painting, quiz, and classical dance competition, organized by Vishavsthalya Social Organization on the eve of 26th celebration of Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi at Navodhaya Vidhalya Basholi.
On the occasion the fifteen schools of Jammu province took part in the programme in order to pay the holy tribute to the Swami Vivekananda Ji who dedicated the entire life for the betterment of the human society with a spiritual vision.
On the eve Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi the Vishavsthalya Social Organization has conducted various events like Debate, Painting, Quiz, and Vividha( in which Dogri songs was presented).
The students Ritham Kashayap of class V1th of Junior category and Nitika Malohtra of class 11th of senior category of DAV School Kathua both have clinched first position in painting competition from their respective categories.
While quiz team from DAV School Varun and Amandeep Singh stood first meanwhile Kashboo Mishra of the DAV school got second position in classical dance and Manu Sharma Rohit Chalotra, Kamni, Vishal, also have been honoured with consolation prizes.
On the occasion the Minister for State Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma was the chief guest he appreciated the brilliant performances depicted by the students and stressed all the student people to follow the path of the Great Saint Swami Vivekananda Ji whose teachings and experiences has become the asset of the entire world in order to keep the world alive and peaceful.
