Govt adopting casual approach towards problems of masses: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Hiranagar, Jan 17: Expressing grave concern over prevailing anarchy and chaos in the State, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that prevailing situation was result of the failure of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has lost control on the administration. PDP general secretary, Thakur Balbir Singh while addressing meeting workers at Dayalachak in connection with the forthcoming rally of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammd Sayeed at Kathua on February 7, said that situation in the State has been deteriorating with every passing day and the government seems to be helpless in control it. He said that situation has been sliding back to pre 2002 due to wrong policies being pursued by the present dispensation headed by Omar Abdullah. Singh regretted that instead of consolidation the process of peace initiated by the previous regime, the present regime has miserable spoiled the atmosphere and created sense of insecurity among the common people. “During its three year tenure this government has proved failure because those at the helm of the affairs are not aware of the ground realities”, he said and asked the party workers to educate the masses about the misdeeds of this government. PDP leader said that since its formation this regime been taking anti-people steps and trying to hoodwink the people by giving confusing statements. “Instead of addressing genuine problems of the masses, this regime is more concerned about befooling the people”, he said and regretted that expect promise this government has done nothing for the people. He said that residents of Kandi areas of this belt are facing acute shortage of water due to causal approach of the authorities.
