GSS expresses solidarity with stranded people

Jammu Jan 17: President Gorkha Sudhar Sabha (GSS), Jammu Kuldeep Chhetri, on behalf of his community members has expressed deep concerned over the problems faced by Valleyites and brethren residing in remote and hilly areas of Jammu region who are undergoing severe discomfort due to continuous heavy snowfall and rainfall.
In his statement Kuldeep Chhetri said that Gorkha Biradari shares its feelings/sufferings and expresses solidarity to all at this hour of their distress and prays Almighty to mitigate their sufferings.
He appealed to authorities at Divisional level and District level to ensure essential commodities in remote and hilly areas and demanded the government should utilizse all available measures to ensure and maintain adequate supplies to public who desperately looking towards all to extend every possible help to them. He also appealed to social organization, volunteers and Disaster Management Department to come forward and extend helping hand.
