Govt orders reshuffle in major hospitals

SRINAGAR, Jan 17: Government has ordered reshuffle of Medical
Superintendents at major hospitals under Department of Medical
Education in Srinagar and Jammu.

According to the order issued on Monday by Commissioner-Secretary
Health & Medical Education, incharge Medical Superintendent (MS) at
the state’s largest of gynecology and obstetrics hospital, Lal Ded, Dr
Nazir Ahmad Choudhary has been transferred and appointed as incharge
MS of Sri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital. Incharge MS at Chest
Diseases Hospital Dalgate, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad has been transferred and
appointed as incharge MS of Lal Ded Hospital.

Head of Department Pediatric at GB Panth Hospital Srinagar, Dr Javed
Choudhary will function as incharge MS of the same children’s
hospital. Head of a department at Chest Disease Hospital will also
hold the charge of MS of the same hospital.

Dr Wasiq Rasool, who assisted incharge MS at Government Hospital
Gandhi Nagar, has been transferred and appointed as Dy MS at
Government Medical College Hospital, Bakhshi Nagar, Jammu.
