| DDC convenes public darbar at Hatli | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Jan 18: A Public Darbar was convened by District Development Commissioner Kathua Zahida Khan at village Hatli in Kathua District in which Panchs and Sarpanchs of the nearby panchayat put forth their problems before the DDC.
Speaking on the occasion DDC assured them that during the next financial year required funds will be obtained and the process will expedited in regard to the completion Hatli- Mahnu road. She also directed XEN PWD to prepare DPR for construction of causeway on this road. Meanwhile PHE department was directed to augment the discharge of water at the Hatli Tube well. DDC Kathua also directed the CAPD Department to make provision for distribution of ration at village Khanyara. On the occasion, DDC sanctioned Rs 30,000 for 5 electric poles for SC Mohalla in Panchyat Hatli. She also sanctioned Rs 1,50000 for 15 PCC poles for ST Mohalla in panchayat Tridwan. She further announced a Social Welfare Centre for Hatli.
She directed the Tehsildar to distribute the Cheques of Kharaba within one week. She appealed to the people to cooperate with the authorities during agriculture census. She also exhorted upon the parents and Sarpanchs to actively participate in the development works of their respective areas.
DDC also interacted with the students and imparted them the awareness regarding various schemes launched by the government for the benefit of the youth specifically related to the skill development and self employment. |
