| Jagti migrants thank Guv for concern | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 18: A meeting of the members and office bearers of Jagti Tenement Committee Jagti Nagrota was held today under the presidentship of S.L Pandita president of the committee wherein the chairman of the committee B.L Raina was too present.
During the meeting the participants hailed the action of the Governor N N Vohra directing the authorities for immediately looking into the grievances of the migrants putting up in Jagti Migrant camp and to redress the suffering being faced by this community.
The members expressed their satisfaction over the patient hearing of the community during their dharna held few days back in front to Raj Bhawan Jammu and instruction to the authorities by the Governor.
Shadi Lal Pandita has said that they are hopeful that the instructions given by the Governor shall be implemented by the authorities concerned in letter and spirit to redress the sufferings of his community at an earliest.
The prominent among others who were present in the meeting include M.L Akhoon, BL Dhar, Chaman Lal, M.L Pandita and others. |
