| Tree Talk organized in Samba | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, Jan 18: Tree lovers today gathered in Govt Degree College (GDC) Samba to inaugurate
Basantar Nature Club wherein tree talk under the supervision of O P Sharma , Prof B N Sharma ,Dr Anju Kaul Advisor Nature Club.
The initiative was held to deliberate on prominent trees of Samba reflecting on their medicinal chemicals, organic colours, historical linkages, rare endemic plants, rare heritage trees, rare birds, common fishes of river Basantar and latest research breakthroughs were discussed by participants. Prominent speakers who spoke on the occasion included Dr Sandhya, Prof Sumanesh Jasrotia, Dr Satinder Juneja, Dr Sarbjeet Kaur Reen, Prof Bholanath and Prof Karan Singh. Besides this students namely Zoya Sambyal, Shubam, Evani , Anuradha also spoke on the occasion. |
