| Adbi Kunj holds special condolence literary meet | | | JAMMU, Jan 18 : The front ranking multilingual literary organization Adbi Kunj J&K Jammu held a special tributes cum condolence literary meet at its literary centre, New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Talab Tillo, Jammu, which was presided over by an old Journalist and writer Dr. Bharat Bhushan Gupta, while K L Dewana, a well known writer and poet, conducted the proceeding the meet. In the opening Sham Talib President of the Organization, condoled the sad demise of veteran Journalist Suraj Saraf. He died here on January 13th, 2012. He was 88 and survived by two sons and grand children. He was the son of Late Lala Mulakh Raj Saraf, known as father of Journalism in J&K.
On the occasion the organization also remembered R K Bharti. He was also an eminent Journalist of various languages. He was the Editor and Publisher of English weekly Gipsy. He worked in various newspapers of different languages and later as a freelance journalist.
On the occasion many other participants were paid their tributes and described the various aspects of these marketable personalities of Journalism. |
