| Animal Husbandry conducts fertility camp | | | Jammu, Jan 18: An impressive fertility camp was organized by Animal Husbandry Department Block Bhalwal at Bhalwa under Rishriya Krishi Vikas Yogna (RKVY).
More than 150 farmers from Burn, Bhalwa & surrounding villages attended the camp. About l00 animals were treated in the camp mostly suffering with gynecological problems by expert team of doctors & free medicines were given to the patients ..
The camp was organized and conducted by Pran Kaul block veterinary officer Pran.Kaul block veterinary officer Bhalwal welcomed all the participants. He while interacting with the farmers deliberated upon various schemes taken by the department for increasing the self employment opportunities especially in dairy & poultry sector.
He highlighted about dairy entrepreneurs development scheme & poultry venture capital fund scheme besides live stock insurance scheme.
He further elaborated on the benefits of artificial semination practices especially in buffaloes. He further wished and stressed upon them for their maximum participation in such camps in future also.
The camp was also attended by D.S Bindra, mobile officer, Rajnesh Gupta, Jyoti Gupta veterinary asstt.surgeons.
Prominent citizens of the area especially panchs & sarpanch attended the camp
The programme was concluded by Mohit VAS Batera who thanked all participating officers and other dignitaries present on the occasion. |
