Status-quo on challenging 'Show Cause Notice' to Banquet Hall | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 18 : Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing today in a petition challenging the show cause notice to Banquet Hall for cancellation of eating house license within 48 hours observed that this petition is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondents to take the decision in the matter having due regard to the reply and documents appended there to and maintain status-quo till the decision is taken. Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice Hasnain Massodi today in a petition challenging the show cause notice to Banquet Hall for cancellation of eating house license within 48 hours after hearing Sr Adv MK Bhardwaj assisted by Adv Ajay Abrol appearing for the petitioner Pinky Gupta observed that this petition is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondents to take the decision in the matter having due regard to the reply and documents appended there to and maintain status-quo till the decision is taken. Court further observed that needless to mention that the petitioner would be at liberty seek appropriate remedy in the event he is aggrieved of the decision so taken by the respondents and disposed of the petition. The petitioner is aggrieved of notice MJ/CEO78-79 dated January 9, 2012 whereby the petitioner's Banquet Hall has been asked to show cause within 48 hours as to why the eating house license issued in his favour be not cancelled.
