| 92.7 BIG FM and Spark Punjabi's Folk Reality Show hold auditions for 'Big Boli Star' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 19: BIG BOLI STAR , the first ever platform to acknowledge and revive the old art form of Punjab heartland , BOLIYAN -, presented by SPARK PUNJABI and 92.7 BIG FM, conducted local auditions here today in Jammu at K L Sehgal Hall Abhinav Theatre.
The auditions were a huge excitement among participants and music teachers alike, as they welcome this very unique and first of its kind initiative, which encourages the local form of art.
An expert jury comprising of prominent Singer of the state, Suraj Singh and Renowned Short Story Writer of Punjabi Literature Khalid Hussain who had judged the contestant's performance, selecting the best artists of the Jammu region. The pair of Anamika Thakur and Rakesh Deol were adjudged as the winners of the local level auditions round whereas pair of Nisha Sharma and Kapil Thappa were the runners up of the auditions. The selected pairs will be contesting among the final contestants of the six cities for the title of "BIG BOLI STAR". The first ever BIG BOLI STAR Reality TV show has an esteemed jury team consisting of famous Punjabi Singer Gurmeet Bawa, as the main Judge, who is responsible keeping the various Punjabi music forms going in the industry.
Speaking on the occasion Cluster Head J&K 92.7 Big Fm Sidharth Arora said, "The event is an effort to revive the old tradition and culture of Punjab Boliyan and a platform for the loyal listeners and fans of the city to become Video Jockey with Spark Punjabi an International Punjabi TV Channel. 92.7 Big Fm as a true entertainer always tries its level best to come close its listeners." |
