Kranti Dal warns CAPD owners stop black marketing | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 19 : Kranti Dal team led by its city president Rajinder Bhagat and city general secretary Neeraj Dhiman visited Resham Ghar and New Plot and found there is shortage of ration in the depots and rate list is not also displayed by them. While interacting with the locals of the area, Rajinder Bhagat said that depot's owners of these area are charging more price from the card holders and misbehaving with them, as there is no schedule of opening and closing the depots. When card holders visited there depot's owners refuse them and saying there is some shortage of supply from the consumer affairs and public distribution (CA&PD) department. There is black marketing in CA&PD department in full swing, officers are also involved in this matter. A bag of flour which cost is just Rs 85 but it sells in the market by charging Rs 120. Further Bhagat said that there is influence of some politicians & officers. There is also black marketing of kerosene oil which supply directly to the agents and they sell in the market by charging higher price. Kranti Dal warned the depot owners to change there attitude and stop black marketing otherwise Dal will start agitation against these black marketers. Dal also appealed to the director of CA&PD to take stern action against defaulters and cancel the licence of those who are violating the rules so that in future they could not do black marketing and charge fair price and fix their schedule of opening and closing of the depots. Others who were included in the team were Rakesh Metha, Varun Gupta, Sahil, Ajay Kumar,Som Raj Manhas etc. |
