JAMMU, Jan 19 : Saying that the road map for remaining three years of the Government focuses on development, welfare and empowerment, the Minister for Industries and Commerce, S. S. Slathia today said ushering the State in a golden era of peace, prosperity and progress would be the key objectives of the States' future planning. Addressing a public meeting at Bari Brahmana, after inaugurating three newly constructed link roads at Takkar, Lower Barjani (meen Sarkar) and Gurah Gurgi (Charkah) in Vijaypur near here this afternoon, Slathia said ensuring better road connectivity especially to the hitherto neglected and for flung areas has been flagged as top priority by the present government as socio economic development was subservient to the better linkages between villages and cities. "This novel employment scheme has been appreciated even by the Planning Commission of India".Slathia observed asking youth to avail multiple benefits of the SKEWPY, Slathia said it enables educated youth to realize their potential and capabilities to achieve success in the Corporate Sector. "In view of the broad contours of the SKEWPY in employment generation, skill development and entrepreneurship, several States have shown interest in the scheme for implementation in their States as well", Slathia added.
