Shohab's autobiography released

Jammu, Jan 19: The autobiography of Shohab Inayat Malik HoD Urdu "Yadoon Ke Lams" was released today in a simple but impressive function by Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir here today.
Mohd Yousuf Taing former Director General of Culture academy presided over the function while chairman Kashmir Time’s group of Publication Ved Bhasin was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
A large number of students, scholars, faculty members and respectable citizens were present at the function. Minister also released the book "Iqbal Majeed Fan, Fiction and Fankar" written by Farat Shamim Asstt Professor, Deptt. of Urdu, University of Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion the Minister congratulated both the writers for publishing their books.
He said that Shohab Inayat Malik had written his autobiography in a be-fitting manner. Highlighting his 35 years family relation with Shohab the Minister described him not only a reputed Urdu writer but also an able administrator under whose leadership the department of Urdu, University of Jammu had grown tremendously.
He said that in his autobiography Shohab had written some of the important events which happened in his life till date.
These incidents are the source of inspiration for the coming generation Mir added. He also congratulated Farat Shamim for publishing her first Book and hope that she will continue to contribute for the development of Urdu language in the state which happens to be the official language of the state.
Ved Bhasin while speaking on the occasion discussed his close association with Shohab and described him a man having a capacity to organize any type of literary function.
His commitment towards Urdu language is known to everybody. In his autobiography "Yadoon Ke lams" Shohab had written some important happening of his life bravely and had also threw light on the culture and civilization of some of the places like Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Pakistan, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh.
