| Rally on environmental awareness organised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 20: In collaboration with World Wildlife Fund, a rally on environment was organized by Model Academy to continue the National
Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC) under the guidelines of the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Govt. of India.
The rally was flagged off by Rupa Gupta Principal Model Academy. Students took out the rally from the school to Indira Chowk and then back to school.
On the way, they distributed pamphlets among the public to create awareness about the need of neat and clean environment.
The students were carrying placards highlighting slogans like "Keep your city clean and green", "Think Green and Live Green", "Plant More and More Trees" and "Save Environment Save Earth". The rally was very successful as the students spread the message among the community with great sense of responsibility.
The staff members of the school also participated enthusiastically in this campaign in spreading the awareness regarding pollution free environment. |
