| Major who allegedly kidnapped his son arrested from Delhi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu: An army Major who allegedly kidnapped his own 5 years old son from court premises in Akhnoor couple of days before has been arrested from Delhi and recovered the kidnapped boy, police sources said.
Sources said that following the kidnap of the minor son by his own father and protests by the Kalpana Tiwari (wife of the accused Major) and her relatives the Akhnoor Police has registered a case against Major Rajni Kant Tiwari posted with 350 Field Regiment. A case u/s 354,324 RPC against Major stands registered at Akhnoor Police Station in kidnapping case.
Source said that the couple did not have cordial relation for the last four years. Earlier, a criminal proceeding was also held in Allahabad court while accused has filed a missing report of his wife and son on 28 December with Akhnoor Police Station. During the investigation of the Kidnapping case at the Akhnoor Court on the other day the police arrested the Major from New Delhi and recovered the minor son Rozy from his possession. |
